The new KeyCluster version brings a slew of new features
First of all a multiplatform GUI for cluster monitoring. The command line interface remains unchanged, with an optimised internal structure and command parsing. A new and more accurate configuration file format allows for new resource configuration.
META-INTERFACE gives the possibility of using IPMP (IP Multi Pathing) where not explicitly supported by using cluster functionality.
DISK allows direct disk resource management, and supports most commonly used Volume Management systems
REPLICA avoids the nedd for shared storage by using the integrated network-based local disk replication support.
Network interface controls have been improved and SCSI reserve can now be used on Solaris to use shared storage more safely.
